Adamek vs McBride on April 9
Tomasz Adamek will face Kevin McBride this coming April 9, 2011 for a heavyweight match. The event will be live straight from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Adamek has a record of 43 wins and 1 loss, 28 of his wins coming by way of knockout while McBride has a record of 35 wins, 8 losses and 1 draw, 29 via knockout. McBride is known for his victory over Mike Tyson last 2005 and he will be the toughest opponent for Adamek. Adamek is supposed to be fighting one of the Klitschko brothers but he was a given a send off fight against McBride. Adamek has fought over Andre Golota, Michael Grant and Vinny Maddalone but he is not known for facing tough and quality contenders. The fight of Adamek against McBride is very disappointing since he chose to fight a guy like McBride rather than fighting tougher opponents. This fight is an easy one for Adamek. Let us hope that McBride will give Adamek an interesting and entertaining boxing match.
